Job Summary:

Ensure accurate payment of invoices for all Welch Packaging Group affiliates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the receipt of paper and electronic invoices and organize for processing.
  2. Ensure proper documentation and approval has been obtained for payment of invoices.
  3. Scan, review, and import invoices into system for matching to supporting documentation.
  4. Allocate multi-location invoices to respective plants for proper matching of expenses.
  5. Manually enter invoices into the system, as needed.
  6. Manage the invoice scanning process including training the scanner to automatically validate invoices.
  7. Assist with periodic check runs, as needed.
  8. Manage the mail for the accounting department.
  9. Comply with company policies and procedures.
  10. Additional duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (college degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred).
  • Two to three years accounting experience (multi-location manufacturing experience a plus).
  • Good organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Internal and external customer focus.
  • Computer literacy with Windows applications (experience in Amtech a plus).
  • Basic accounting skills.
  • Ability to read and write English.
