Summary

The role of the ERP Analyst is to provide technical support and assistance for a variety of information technology systems, including: AmTech, CTI, KIWI, as well as other systems in our environment.


Key Responsiblities

1. Meet or exceed customer expectations. (For both internal and external customers)

2. Provide planning implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for all ERP systems.

3. Work with ERP support staff to troubleshoot and implement patches or software upgrades.

4. Prepare & maintain documentation of training and support for all disciplines utilized by ERP systems within the organization building upon the ERP playbook.

5. Provide on-call support as needed (including after hours)

6. Travel to remote sites on a rotational basis to provide excellent support solutions to business needs (including after hours or as needed)

7. Assist Welch University initiatives by creating and teaching ERP course materials.

8. Provide Level 2 Help Desk support for ERP systems.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

High School Diploma required. College degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field preferred. Three years of IT experience in a manufacturing setting. Hands on experience working with any ERP system. Good organizational, analytical and communication skills. Excellent problem solving and teamwork skills. Experience with Windows operation systems is nice to have with proficiency in MS Office applications preferred. Certifications in various ERP and/or Six Sigma is a plus.

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to handle technology equipment or store materials during the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Must be able to lift as much as 40 pounds and carry items such as monitors, PC's and printers.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protection equipment such as Safety Glasses with side shields, and mandatory hearing protection, and steel toed shoes. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Requires travel as necessary.
